He later channeled this knowledge into entrepreneurship, opening a successful repair facility in his hometown of Kalamazoo, Michigan, followed by a used car dealership in Detroit that specialized in refurbishing and rebuilding auction vehicles. These ventures not only sharpened his technical skills but also fostered a deep understanding of what customers value: honesty, efficiency, and quality.
